Here are a few problems of our system.
1. Education system should encourage students to think, However it is encouraging to memorize.
2. Teacher stands in front of the class when a teacher should be part of the class and a class should be a part of the teacher.
3. Students are made to sit facing the teacher, not encouraging students to interact and learn from each other.
4. If one is good is mugging up, one has a good chance to rank in top 5.
5. Rank 1 feels superior, rank n feels inferior.
6. Students suicide as a few do not live up to their parents expectations or can not handle the pressure.
7. A graduate degree isn't enough for a worthy job. (in most cases)
8. Corporates add to it. Below 80% marks - not eligible for a job application.

Why cant we today think, research and invent/discover? Why do we only follow Einstein and Newton and not question?
I agree that we (maximum of us) are beneficiaries of the current education system, but we are finding ways to improve it and not just criticize it.
